<HTML>Shalom u'vracha.
As Zvi Grumet recommended, I'll quickly mention that I work as the rav bet-sefer (school rabbi), of the local elementary school,
serving the yishuvim in what is known as Gush Dolev-Talmonim (in Binyamin).
My second educational project is the reason that I am writing.
I've written a halacha program for day schools which is currently in use in 16 day schools in North America, as well as an equal number of mamlachti-dati schools (and a few Noams for those who understand the various Israeli systems) in Israel. The program has been running b"H for up to four years in several of the large US day schools (Flatbush, Ramaz, North Shore Hebrew Academy, Moriah ....).
A few words about the program, after which anyone interested in more information, samples etc. is invited to e-mail me their requests.
The Halacha Yomit program is a weekly sheet given out to students, which contains a halacha in question and answer form for every school day.
I set each schools program up according to their school calendar. The program is in Ivrit, with many of the difficult words translated. (Although it is in Ivrit a number of non-Ivrit b'Ivrit schools are currently using the program successfully).
Topics include the basics (hashkamat haboker, seuda, brachot, tefilah etc.), as well as lots of bein adam lechaveiro, and the halachot of chagim in the week or two preceding each chag.
The Halacha Yomit is geared towards elementary school (4-8), although there are quite a few schools who use it (using various methods) for older (grades 9-10) and younger (2-3) students.
