Dear Shalom,
I was impressed by Rav Aviner's shiur about promoting living in Israel as a layman rather than living in the diaspora as an educator that was posted by Rabbi Jablon.
I am literally not even remotely in the same league as Rav Aviner in any area of Torah knowledge and therefore feel unqualified to respond to a scholar of his stature.
I was surprised to see an Arutz Sheva article recently about Rav Lichtenstein's opinion on the matter of living in Israel or teaching in Chutz Laaretz in a classically nuanced Rav Lichtenstein approach to a complex issue.
