Shabbath:31a Hillel said to gentile who asked to be converted "What is hateful to you, do not do to your fellow: this is the whole Torah; the rest is the explanation; go and learn." (Leviticus 19:18 "Love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD." Rabbi Akiva says "zeh klal gadol batorah" - This is an essential principle of the Torah.)
Just as it is important for us to build a family and have children – same gender couples also would like to have a family, have children and not live a lonesome life.
