<HTML>Consider the following situation:
You are hired as the principal of a school. After a full year of
evaluating the staff you discover that one of the teachers, let's say a
Jewish studies teacher, who loyally gave twenty years to the service of
the school, is not an effective force in the classroom and has no positive
impact on the students.
a-Do you have an obligation to maintain this teacher on staff as
compensation for his many years of dedicated service to the school?
b-Do you have a right to maintain this teacher on staff given that his
students (and their parents) are being cheated out of the quality
education they deserve?
