In response to the question about whether any yeshivot offer paid
maternity leave:

Ma'ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls in Teaneck, NJ provides for six
weeks of fully paid maternity leave: the mother applies for disability,
and the school makes up the difference between the disability check and
her regular salary. Of course, teachers can elect to return to work
before the six weeks are over, as some choose to do.

As an aside, Ma'ayanot also offers space for teachers to bring their
young children and babysitters to work with them, so that the children
can be close by (which is especially convenient for nursing mothers).
Several teachers have taken advantage of that space for the past two
years, myself included, and it has worked out very nicely.

Shalom,
