Deena Nataf suggests that students read books such as "The Magic Touch,"
"Outside Inside," and "Doesn't Anyone Blush Anymore?" I am certain
that she would agree that it is important to add that assigning a book
requires a thought-out lesson, together with homework, motivation
questions, etc. Of course, I do not mean by this that an exciting and
dynamic class discussion be turned into another boring lesson where
students have to copy passages of the book as homework, or the like. But
the teacher needs a plan, and the students need to be directed on what
points to focus on in the book, etc. This requires planning and
direction. "Meaningful discussions" and "dynamic lecturers" are
important, but they must be based on good educational planning to be
really effective.</HTML>
