Frankel Jewish Academy (FJA) in West Bloomfield, Michigan, is seeking passionate &
dynamic Jewish Studies Teachers (grades 9-12) for the 2026-2027 school year.

We are seeking talented educators who possess:
A vibrant & dynamic presence in the classroom that sparks curiosity & enthusiasm in teenagers.
A deep commitment to Jewish practice & advanced academic training in Jewish Studies.
A solid background in Hebrew language (textual and/or modern).
A passion for both Jewish & secular knowledge & the desire to continually enhance your pedagogy.
A foundation in current educational best practices & the effective use of technology to enhance learning.
A genuine enthusiasm for mentoring & working with high school students in a text-based, pluralistic setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Jewish Studies, History, etc.).
Previous high school teaching experience.
Commitment to FJA’s mission & Jewish values.
An advanced degree (Master’s or Rabbinic Ordination) preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary range commensurate w/ experience, $40,000 – $75,000
7 PTO days plus school holidays & vacation days.
