The Hebrew Academy of Nassau County High School is a mission-driven, modern Orthodox, co-educational private yeshiva high school located in Nassau County. HANC is seeking a full time Director of Student Activities who will work with the Student Life Team to promote school spirit through educationally meaningful and exciting programming. This role is central to fostering a positive, engaging, and values-driven school culture, improving student engagement and the day-to-day student experience.
We are seeking:
• A creative and dynamic personality to lead school programming (~300 students)
• An organized individual to see a project from its creation to its conclusion
• A dedicated individual who is a team player with a focus on programming for female students
General responsibilities include:
• Organize school trips, grade trips, Shabbatonim, Retreats, Chesed days etc.
• Special days programming, including Rosh Chodesh Chagigot, Chanukah, Purim, Yom Ha’atzmaut, Yom Hashoah, Yom Yerushalayim, etc.
• Oversee Student Senate
• Develop Chesed initiatives and manage student Chesed app
• Manage student life marketing, social media, and school photos and videos
• Liaise with Admissions in recruitment programming
• Assist in managing clubs and committees
• Manage the school spiritwear store
