Math Specialist (K–8)

The Moriah School, located in Englewood, NJ, is a Modern Orthodox, co-ed yeshiva day school serving approximately 800 students in grades Toddler–8. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Math Specialist to join our K–8 faculty.
This position is primarily a teaching role, combined with meaningful opportunities to support and collaborate with teachers to strengthen math instruction across the school. The ideal candidate will be an engaging educator with strong content knowledge, a growth mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively to enhance curriculum, instruction, and student achievement in mathematics.

Position Overview
The Math Specialist will spend the majority of the day teaching math classes, including select advanced and/or remedial groups. In addition, the specialist will partner with K–8 teachers to enhance instructional practices, support curriculum implementation, and promote a cohesive and rigorous math program.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or related field preferred.
Strong background in elementary and/or middle school mathematics.
Demonstrated success teaching students across a range of abilities.
Experience with instructional leadership or coaching is preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A growth mindset and commitment to academic excellence.

Salary range: $65,000-$90,000 based on experience
