SESSION 1: The Foundation – What Is AI and How Can It Help Me Now?
Curious about AI but have no idea where to begin? This foundational session demystifies tools like ChatGPT and shows you how to write simple prompts to immediately help with emails, brainstorming, and lesson prep. This is designed for the true beginner who has little to no experience and is asking, “What is all the hype about, and how can it possibly save me time?”

Learn how to foster a culture of integrity while guiding students to use AI appropriately and reflectively. We’ll share practical strategies for designing assessments that promote deep thinking, student voice, and ethical decision-making, even in an AI-rich world.
