Abraham Joshua Heschel School seeks a Middle School Girls & Boys Soccer Assistant/Co-Coach Coach for the current school year.

The coach is responsible for creating an environment that reflects the values and goals of the Heschel Athletics Department. The coach is also responsible for organizing the team in such a way that, one, maximizes the educational and athletic potential of all student-athletes and, two, allows students to develop an appreciation and commitment to the game.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or higher education and either have or must be willing to obtain First-Aid-CPR-AED certification and concussion training certification.

The Spring season will run approximately 3 months (March-May) and the specific practice schedule is: 1.5-hour practices; The girls’ 6th-8th-grade team practices Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:15 – 5:45 pm. The boys’ 6th and 7th-grade team practices Tuesdays (3:20 – 4:45) and Thursdays (4:00 – 5:30). Coaches should be available Monday-Thursday from approximately 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM for practices and/or games. Game times are either 4:00 or 5:00 pm on their scheduled practice days. The per session stipend rate is $75.
