Upon payment, you agree to the terms and conditions as detailed below:

Lookstein Virtual Summer School of Bar-Ilan University courses are offered from June 1 – August 30. A grace period through September 3 will be extended to students to submit late assignments. After that date assignments that are not yet submitted will be given a zero. Exact course dates and live session schedules to be mutually agreed upon by the parties. 15-20 minutes live check-ins with teachers will be scheduled at mutually agreed upon times throughout the course. Students who are completing their courses in 4 weeks or less may meet with their teachers twice per week. Otherwise, check ins will not exceed one meeting per week.

The Parent agrees that:
The Students will be given a minimum of 30 hours to complete this course.
The Students will have access to necessary technological equipment (i.e. computer/laptop and headset) when they are working on the course(s).
The Parent will provide technical assistance when needed.
The Parent will oversee student participation and act as a liaison to Lookstein Virtual. They will contact Lookstein Virtual with any academic, technical, or other challenges that may arise during the course.
Tuition refunds are available according to the schedule below. Lookstein Virtual must receive written notification by the Parent to Lookstein Virtual’s Director of Instruction for a refund to be issued.
A full refund will be granted prior to the start of course.
50% tuition refund will be granted if the withdrawal from the course occurs during the first week of the course.
Tuition refunds are not granted for withdrawals after completion of the first week of the course.

Students will adhere to the Lookstein Virtual Course Academic Policy:
Lookstein Virtual sets high expectations for the success of its students. We are committed to meeting the needs of our students and will work to facilitate student success. To maintain instructional momentum, students are required to submit assignments in their course at the agreed upon pace and to maintain regular contact with their instructors.

Note that:
a. Any student who has not logged into the course and/or submitted assignments for the course over a period of five weekdays and has not made prior arrangements with his/her instructor will be referred to the Lookstein Virtual Director of Instruction in an attempt to communicate the urgency of recommitting to the course.
b. When attempts to contact the Student/parent are successful, the Lookstein Virtual Director of Instruction will work with students and parents to design a plan for success in the course. The plan will include work and contact commitments from the student.
c. Failure to respond to the Director of Instruction's attempts to contact the student/parent, or failure to adhere to the Success Plan created by the student and parent, may result in administrative removal from the course with an F grade.
d. Students who are subject to administrative removal from a course will not receive a tuition refund.

Lookstein Virtual Jewish Academy/Bar-Ilan University agrees to:
Supply a 14 unit course- orientation plus 13 units of instruction.
Facilitate and coordinate the implementation of the course.
Provide course an online teacher.
Communicate regularly by email and by telephone with the Student and the Parent.
Allow the parent to access individual assessment reports as frequently as needed.

Lookstein Virtual Jewish Academy/Bar-Ilan University reserves the right to showcase student work (without full student name) for our marketing efforts including on our website and social media, and in speaking engagements, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Through payment of the amount specified in the invoice above, The Parent agrees to the terms and conditions specified here.
