The Essentials of Jewish History Instruction Bootcamp is designed for 7th-12th grade teachers in Jewish day schools. Participants will explore effective teaching methods for the Jewish History classroom, including the use of primary sources, artifacts, timelines, and more!
Teaching Difficult Topics in Tanakh
Teaching Tanakh inevitably raises topics that don’t have easy answers—moral and theological dilemmas, complex biblical role models, etc. Designed to help educators meet those moments with confidence and care, this course equips teachers with tips for anticipating challenges as well as practical strategies for addressing them.
Teaching Parshanut
Why do we teach Tanakh parshanut? How do we use parshanut to support our overall Tanakh learning goals? How do we teach it effectively? In this five-unit course, you will build an intentional strategy for parshanut instruction that will increase engagement and meaningful learning among your students.
