SINAI Schools is seeking a school Social Worker for high school students with special needs for the SINAI campus at Torah Academy of Bergen County in Teaneck, NJ. This role is for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year. The ideal candidate will be a licensed social worker, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience with students that have developmental and learning disabilities.
Responsibilities
Oversee the social and emotional development of students
Meet with students individually as well as in groups
Collaborate with staff to identify social/emotional skills and strategies to be targeted throughout the day
Support and partner with parents in generalizing of plans and skills at home
Collaborate with physicians and mental health professionals working with students outside of school
Qualifications
MSW or LCSW required
3-5 years of experience, preferably within a special education setting
The expected salary range is between $65,000-$90,000.
