Yeshiva of Central Queens is seeking a dedicated and engaging Junior High School Science Teacher for a half-day position.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering dynamic science lessons to junior high students, including hands-on labs and interactive learning experiences. Responsibilities include assessing student progress, fostering scientific curiosity, and maintaining a positive, structured classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan and teach junior high school science classes
Prepare lessons, labs, and hands-on learning activities
Assess and track student progress and understanding
Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Salary: $40,000–$60,000 (Half-Day), commensurate with experience
