ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER OF IVRIT
Kohelet Yeshiva Lab School, an educationally progressive, K-8 Modern Orthodox Day School located in Merion Station, Pennsylvania, seeks a dynamic and talented educational leader for the position of Elementary School Teacher of Ivrit for the 2024-2025 school year. The Ivrit position is envisioned as a full-time position encompassing all Ivrit instruction for an elementary learning environment.
The successful candidate will have a BA as well as a graduate degree in fields related to education and/or Judaic Studies. Experience with a student-centered classroom is strongly preferred.
He or she will be excited by the opportunity to:
work in a highly collaborative team environment.
co-teach with colleagues in Judaic Studies to create meaningful integration between the Judaic and Ivrit curricula.
recognize their own areas of weakness, and actively pursue their own professional growth.
The Teacher of Ivrit will work with the Principal, Assistant Principal, and the school’s consultants to begin training prior to the 2024-2025 school year. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
