Torah Academy of Bergen County (TABC), a Modern Orthodox yeshiva high school for boys, is seeking faculty members for the 2024-2025 academic year.
High School Inclusion Teacher for Ninth Grade (F/T)
– Dynamic teacher needed for a cohort of 4-5 freshman boys for a pilot inclusion program.
– Candidate should be flexible in pedagogical approaches in order to differentiate materials for inclusion students, and be able to implement best practices in teaching.
-He/she should have excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate and collaborate with students, classroom teachers, and parents.
– The position includes daily push-in to General and Judaic Studies classes, as well as additional pull-out periods each week for skill development and instructional support.
– The inclusion teacher will also set benchmark goals and monitor progress, updating as necessary, in conjunction with parents and the Director of Student Services.
– Degree in special education or related field preferred.
– 3-5 years of experience with students with learning challenges is required.
