We are seeking a dynamic, growth-oriented Judaic Studies teacher for the 2024-2025 school year for our Middle School (6-8). Candidates should be committed to data-driven and child-centered learning, and have the ability to create a safe and supportive classroom environment where students are actively engaged and learning is personalized to each child’s unique ability. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in special education and have experience working with diverse populations. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a passion for teaching and inspiring students.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education or related field preferred.
Previous experience working in a classroom setting, particularly in a Jewish Day School or other religious school environment.
Knowledge of Jewish history, culture, and religious practices preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and parents.
Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
Demonstrated ability to work with children and to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
● This is a full‐time position. 7:45 am – 4:45 pm, 10 month position
● Starting date: August 14, 2024
