HANC Middle School is looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and skillful Maternity Leave English teacher to join our team in December. This candidate will teach 5 periods of 8th grade English a day from Monday- Thursday 12:50-4:42PM.
The classroom teacher will work collaboratively with other staff members to develop and motivate each student toward an awareness and understanding of the subject matter and/or skills needed to develop into mature, well rounded, responsible young adults. The teacher will establish positive rapport with students and will encourage them to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed for future success.
Compensation: $25,000 or more.
Job: Beginning December- June 19th.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide an optimum learning environment for all students
* Follow curriculum guidelines for essential learning and instructional strategies in the following subjects:
o English
* Model lifelong learning, positive self-esteem, and respect for others
* Set and maintain high personal, professional, and instructional standards for self and students
MUST POSSESS:
Strong classroom management skills
Knowledge of child growth and development need
