Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Special Education Teacher to join our Learning Lab for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in all high school content areas and possess a passion for fostering student success.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
Provide instruction to high school students in various subjects, including English, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles.
Mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth.
Provide academic advising and guidance to students.
Strong collaboration skills with colleagues.
Proficient in administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
A minimum of two years of experience working with high school students in an educational setting.
Knowledge of instructional design principles and strategies.
Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
