Responsibilities:

To advance the middle school science curriculum, aligning it with Next Generation Science standards. The development and delivery of captivating science lessons, fostering inquiry-based learning, and promoting hands-on exploration to deepen students’ understanding. Additionally, active participation in professional development opportunities will be encouraged to stay abreast of advancements in teaching methodologies and subject matter. Moreover, educators will be encouraged to contribute actively to the school community, fostering a collaborative learning environment conducive to students’ holistic development.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates for this position should possess a Master’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field, alongside relevant teaching experience, for at least three years, preferably in a middle school setting. The desired candidate should exhibit strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, essential for effective interaction with students, colleagues, and parents alike.

Salary:
$60,000 – $80,000 commensurate with experience
