The Fuchs Mizrachi Stark High School in Beachwood, Ohio is seeking a full time Director of Student Life beginning in the Fall of 2024, who will create meaningful access points of community building and connection both within the student body and between students and faculty.

[I] Goals
1. Envisioning and Implementing meaningful programs and experiential learning that enhance the positive culture of the entire school, as well as increasing a sense of community and belonging within specific grades.

[II] Responsibilities:
The Director of Student Life will:

1. Plan, promote, and manage a broad spectrum of activities and programs which will cultivate a vibrant and active feeling of ruach in the high school

2. Serve as an access point for individual students and build additional pathways to help nurture adolescent social emotional development.

3. Collaborate with Judaic faculty to design meaningful educational and experiential Chag related programs.

4. Coordinate unique Shabbat experiences each semester. These includes onegs, faculty hosting for lunch/dinner, a school wide shalosh seudot etc. This also includes coordinating our Fellows program: our visiting Yeshiva University and Stern aspiring educators who come to Mizrachi four times a year who bring ruach, role modeling and additional learning opportunities to our student body. This also includes our High School Retreat- our weekend shabbaton that serves as a pinnacle experience of our programming calendar.

5. Plan our high school wide “Opening Day” program and grade level “gibush” trips (at least 1 each semester) to build positive energy and community within each grade

6. Secure logistics for various experiential programming
