Position Overview
This position may be part-time or full-time and involves working with students in grades 1–5 within a supportive, collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Student Support Team to address students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs
- Provide short-term individual counseling for students with social-emotional and executive functioning challenges
- Facilitate small groups focused on skill-building and coping strategies
- Conduct brief psychoeducational assessments and interpret findings to support admissions and academic planning
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and outside providers to develop and implement targeted intervention plans
- Develop and implement Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Provide crisis intervention and school-wide support as needed
- Design and implement social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum and related programming
- Lead parent and faculty workshops and trainings
Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD in School Psychology, or LCSW preferred
- Experience with teacher consultation, psychological evaluation, and behavioral planning
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
