Hirsch – a 19th century German Orthodox Rabbi who developed the idea of a rational, passionate and halakhically committed Judaism

Torah im Derekh Eretz – a keystone of Hirsch’s philosophy, which marries full religious commitment and practice with healthy pursuit of earthly matters

Ideal Graduate – a theoretical construct in which key school stakeholders define what they would ultimately like to see in their graduates
