Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls seeks an energetic and dedicated College Guidance Counselor to support approximately 350 students in grades 9–12 through the college search and application process. Working with the Director of College Guidance, the counselor will help students identify and apply to colleges that best fit their goals and values.
The ideal candidate will have experience in college admissions or high school counseling, strong communication and organizational skills, technological fluency (preferably with Scoir), and sensitivity to the needs of Modern Orthodox Jewish families. A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s is preferred.
Key responsibilities include advising students and parents, building relationships with college admissions officers, guiding applications and essays, writing recommendations, preparing students for interviews, and organizing college-related programming. Staying current with admissions trends and engaging the school community are essential aspects of the role.
Salary range 70-80k depending on experience.
