Brauser Maimonides Academy (BMA) seeks a Chief Academic Officer

BMA is a Modern Orthodox day school in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, serving students from Early Childhood through 8th Grade. Rooted in Torah values and academic excellence, we aim to nurture the whole child—academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

As we look to the future, BMA seeks a visionary, strategic, and collaborative Chief Academic Officer (CAO) to lead and strengthen the academic experience across the school. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a growing institution of over 750 students alongside a committed Head of School, talented educators, and a supportive community.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a cohesive academic vision that aligns General and Judaic Studies across all grades.

Oversee curriculum development, pedagogy, and vertical alignment.

Supervise and support division principals, instructional coaches, and faculty growth.

Strengthen student culture and parent partnership across divisions.

Promote cross-departmental collaboration and healthy schoolwide culture.

Lead data-informed decision-making tied to student learning and outcomes.

Serve as a strategic partner to the Head of School.

The Ideal Candidate:

A master educator with strong curriculum and instructional leadership across grade levels.

Experienced in Jewish day school settings, with comfort in both General and Judaic Studies.

A strategic leader who inspires trust, manages people with emotional intelligence, and fosters collaboration.

An excellent communicator, grounded in Modern Orthodox values and practices.

Minimum Requirements:

MA or higher in Education or a related field

5+ years of leadership experience in education

Understanding of dual curriculum and Modern Orthodox school culture

Willingness to relocate to South Florida (if applicable)

Compensation:
