Yeshiva Har Torah is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Elementary Math/Enrichment Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. This part-time position can be scheduled either in the morning or afternoon, with available hours of approximately 8:40 AM–12:50 PM or 11:30 AM–3:30 PM. The position entails teaching either mainstream elementary mathematics, or teaching enrichment mathematics classes. The ideal candidate will foster mathematical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and a love for learning in a supportive and engaging environment.
Responsibilities
Teach elementary-level math or provide enrichment instruction to small groups of students.
Develop and implement engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and real-world problem-solving.
Foster a student-centered learning environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and math exploration.
Utilize technology, manipulatives, and varied instructional strategies to enhance learning experiences.
Assess student progress using diverse assessment tools and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support student success and school-wide initiatives.
Maintain clear, professional communication with students, parents, and staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Prior teaching experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of elementary mathematical concepts and mathematical reasoning.
Ability to create an engaging, inquiry-based learning environment.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
