Teaching Tanakh inevitably raises topics that don’t have easy answers—moral and theological dilemmas, complex biblical role models, etc. Designed to help educators meet those moments with confidence and care, this course equips teachers with tips for anticipating challenges as well as practical strategies for addressing them, including how to navigate sensitive conversations, deepen learning, and support students’ spiritual and intellectual growth.

This course is designed for Middle School/High School Tanakh educators teaching in Jewish day schools.

Format: Four-unit asynchronous course including reading study guides, watching videos, completing assignments and one 40-minute, 1-1 personalized Zoom meetings with your master Tanakh educator facilitator. The course will take ~ 5-6 hours to complete.
