Inside Israel: How do you develop a deep, nuanced, and personal connection to Israel—a connection that can be cultivated from your own school? The Lookstein Center’s BRAND NEW project Inside Israel is designed to ignite a lifelong connection to and love of Israel. Inside Israel provides schools with FREE resource packs throughout the year. Each resource pack, based on a new theme, is complete with engaging learning opportunities, dynamic activities, and immersive experiences to help 7th-10th grade students foster their own informed connection to Israel.

Engaging students in conversations about antisemitism is crucial for fostering understanding and safety. Encourage students to reflect and share their experiences. Teachers should also make space to care for their own needs and create open communication.

Responding to the Emotional Effects of Antisemitism – Video and Accompanying Materials

The following exercises to help students cope with antisemitism were created by Dr. Michaela Ambrosius. Exercises include body scans, grounding exercises, sensory experiences, and more to manage anxiety and depression. For coping with depression, activities like ball tosses and object-holding allow students to open up and share their feelings. Journaling with short prompts is also suggested.
