Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School, located in Livingston, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time special education teacher for the 2023-2024 school year to join our Learning Lab.
Responsibilities: – Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards – Provide instruction to high school students in various subjects, including but not limited to English, Math, Science, and Social Studies – Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles – Mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth – Provide academic advising and guidance to students
Experience: – Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred) – Valid teaching certification/license in the appropriate subject area(s) – Experience working with high school students in an educational setting – Knowledge of instructional design principles and strategies- Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
