We are seeking a caring and dynamic teacher to join our Middle School faculty team to cover a math maternity leave April 1-June 24. An ideal candidate will have experience teaching middle school math, a passion for teaching in a middle school environment, and excellent classroom management. Our teachers are responsible for planning lessons, delivering differentiated instruction, assessing student learning, helping students to develop social and emotional competencies, communicating with parents, and collaborating with their colleagues.
Ideal Candidates will possess the following qualifications:
MA in Education
Experience teaching math, ideally in a middle school setting
A teaching philosophy that focuses on growth in academic, social and emotional domains
A collaborative, teamwork-oriented approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
