WORK SCHEDULE
Working hours are generally 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM; additional hours may be required in the evenings. Teachers are expected to attend faculty meetings on Thursdays from 3:45 PM until 5:00 PM.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Instruct students in small groups in the Learning Center
Provide “push in” support in classrooms
Support grade level team members by providing resources and facilitating meetings regarding differentiation and best practice
Offer enrichment opportunities for students requiring extra challenge or differentiation
Participate in Learning Center Team meetings
Carry out assigned administrative duties

QUALIFICATIONS
Specific expertise in teaching reading and math
Ability to provide students with strategies and support their metacognition and self-advocacy skills
Proven track record of effective collaboration with colleagues
Supports the mission, vision, values, and commitments as outlined on our “About” website page
Has excellent interpersonal skills
Kind and possesses a healthy sense of humor
Demonstrates flexibility and ability to take initiative and follow through on projects
Possesses good judgment
Advanced degree or equivalent experience

SALARY & BENEFITS
*Salary range: $60,000-$90,000; Salary offers are based on our salary scale steps, which are based on years of experience, and are non-negotiable due to pay equity practices. *Base faculty salaries do not reflect additional compensation based on degree level and stipends.
