Israel Education Department Chair: Pressman Academy is seeking our first Israel Education Department Chair, a faculty leader responsible for shaping and advancing a cohesive Israel education program for the elementary and middle school. Working with school leadership, the Chair provides instructional leadership, curricular guidance, and support to Israel educators, ensuring alignment with Pressman’s mission, values, and educational philosophy. The Chair leads the ongoing development of a vertically integrated K–8 Israel curriculum, mentors and supports faculty, and strengthens teaching and learning. The Chair also serves as a key thought partner in strengthening Israel-related experiences and programming, including parent education and the annual middle school Israel trip. The Chair is a member of the Hanhallah (the education management team) and reports to the Judaic Studies Principal.

You are an experienced educator and leader who possesses a clear educational vision and a passion for Israel education. You bring the ability to think both vertically and developmentally, and to support the design and refinement of curriculum and programming across grade levels.
