Abraham Joshua Heschel School in New York City is seeking a full-time Hebrew/Judaic Studies Learning Specialist (Grades 1–5) to cover a parental leave position through November 2025.

The ideal candidate will:
Have a degree in special education, learning disabilities, or a related field
Have at least two years of experience as a learning specialist
Demonstrate a strong knowledge base in the area of learning differences
Be a native Hebrew speaker
Be flexible, hard-working, and enthusiastic about collaboration with teachers
Be comfortable teaching in a variety of formats—whole class, small group, push-in, or pull-out instruction
