SINAI@YCQ is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Teacher to work with both General and Judaic Studies faculty for the 2025-26 year, teaching children ages 6-14 with special needs in a collaborative and supportive setting. Knowledge of Orthodox Judaism a plus.
Responsibilities
– Assisting general and Judaic studies teacher in the classroom for students with special needs
– Providing academic support and guidance to students as needed
SINAI@YCQ, for students in grades one through eight, is located at Yeshiva of Central Queens in Queens, NY. Students have a wide range of developmental, intellectual, and complex learning disabilities, and are grouped into multigraded classes according to their social, academic, and emotional profiles to create appropriate peer groups.
